Staffordshire Waste, a waste recycling specialist in Stoke on Trent, has taken delivery of a brand new DAF LF Skip Loader from Motus Commercials DAF – Stoke.

Supplied by Sales Executive, Matt Durose, the DAF LF 210 12T boasts an iconic purple livery with company branding, reversing camera from Auto Start, and a robust Hyva skip loader body.

The new truck replaces an older 7.5-tonne truck, which is part of a fleet of 8, and has gotten to work from day 1 delivering and collecting skips for customers.

A few weeks post-delivery, we caught up with Pip Brown, General Manager at Staffordshire Waste, to see how they’re getting on with their new truck.

Pip explains, “We’re really pleased with this new truck. Our drivers already preferred DAF and so far they are very impressed with this new addition.”

The relationship between Staffordshire Waste and the Stoke DAF location spans several years with Motus Commercials taking care of all routine servicing and maintenance for their DAF vehicles, and this truck too has a 5 year R&M package.

Pip continues, “We have an excellent rapport with our local Motus DAF dealership. They’re always very helpful with anything we ask of them and nothing is ever too much trouble, which is just what we need when we’re so busy dealing with our day-to-day operation.”

Pip and her team have demonstrated their ongoing commitment to the DAF product with another order for a new DAF LF 18T Skip Loader already placed.
